1994 Evinrude E30telerM made PUFF sound and stop at start up

Hi,
I have a 1994 Evinrude E30telerM that I bought this year.
Use it 3 times with no problem.
Yesterday, It started normally and then I immediately heard a PUFF sound
from the back of the motor and it stop.
Tried a 2nd time with same result...
Tried a 3rd time and it started normally and work good after that.

It did this after a 15 minutes ride and being stop for about 1 hour..
I was starting it without using the choke

What could have cause this.

I use 91 octane gas with a 50:1 oil ratio, previous owner told me that's what he was using

Open low speed mixture screw 1/4 turn and test again.-----Or after initial cold start use 1/2 choke / primer on cold starting.
