Hi guys brand new here to this forum and boating. Had the boat out for my second time. I had the trim set all the way down in 90ft of water, hit the throttle and as I hit the trim switch up doing so would bog the engine bad, as long as I had my thumb on the switch in the up position, let off and the engine would be fine just like that. I did this twice with same results. 10 miles later tried it again and it worked fine, but now every 10 mins it will drop all the way back to the down position from the up on plain position as where i have to re adjust it back up again. Sounds like an electrical gremlin? Any help would be great!

welcome aboard

if its dropping, that could be dirt in the check valves in the pump

I will see what seals are available and tackle that job of taking the pump apart. As far as killing the engine rpms I dont know if that was a fluke but one step at a time. Thanks for your input Scott
