1994 Johnson 150 Intruder speedo question

my pickup tube for the speedo is in the foot, it is stopped up with who knows what
problem i am having is finding something to "wind" and twist through the tubing - tried air with no result - any ideas?

Start with a 1/16" drill bit and thread it it in by HAND. Then go a little bigger until you clean out the hole. Then pull the speedo tube off of the fitting on the top of the g/c and back blow it.

what boobie said, I always kept a drill bit that size in my boat tool box for just that reason. Typically, those type speedos aren't all that accurate anyway, but if you don't have a gps, they're close enough.

tried that but my air compressor is only a "pancake" compressor with not that much pressure obviously
i will get to a higher pressure air compressor and see if that helps
ill let you know
