I've owned a 1994 Johnson 9.9 with electric start for about a year. There are times it will start with no problem and other times would crank and not fire. I thought I was flooding it but I finally checked and realized that I am not getting spark. It has remote controls and the key switch with the safety lanyard attached. It will fire instantly when I have spark. It seems to have a mind of its own. Any suggestions?
