I've owned a 1994 johnson 9.9 with electic start for about a year. There are times it will start with no problem and times it will crank and not fire. I thought I was flooding it but I finally checked and realized that I am not getting spark when it won't start. It has remote control and the key switch with the safety lanyard attached. It will fire instantly when it gets spark. It acts like it has a mind of its own. Any suggestions?
