1994 Mercruiser 3.0LX with Alpha One Gen 2 gear ratio

I looked at my Maxum boat outdrive and found out that it is an Alpha One gen 2 model. It has a gear ratio of 1.98 with 3.0LX engine. I found the chart and it does not have any 1.98 gear ratio for this engine/outdrive. The correct ratio according to the following website is

120 & 140

4 cylinder

1991 thru present

1.93 / 20-24

oh, well, forgot to ask a question, is it the correct outdrive? I dont think it is an aftermarket version, it looks like it is an original outdrive that came with the engine according to the numbers on the above the carb plastic cover serial numbers.

mercruiser literature is 1.98. thinking the sterndrive website has a typo

1.98 is correct for the 3.0
