Getting ready to buy a 20 ft 1994 606zp Stingray. I am new to boating and would like to know if anyone has experience with the MerCruiser 4.3. I was wondering if there were known issues with this year/make engine and at what point (Hours I guess) should I consider the motor to be suspect or prone to problems. What is considered average hours? I know with cars 15,000 miles per year is average. The friend I am buying it from says it has been regularly serviced. I know that he is a great mechanic and keeps all his vehicles/motocycles in top shape. Just wondering about known issues. Thanks in advance for your help
