Re sealing my old 1994 Mercury 30 hp lower gear case and need to remove the shift shaft to replace the O
rings. After I remove the prop shaft and the driveshaft is the shift shaft support threaded in OR is it just pressed in and just pull out with a bit of force. (slide hammer)?
