Hello to all. Just found the site, and hope yall can give me a little insight...
Okay, so I've got this seadoo (94 sp). Previous owner started mixing fuel/oil, AND using the injection system. Obviously wouldn't run very well. Anyway, the thing sat for a few years, and i picked it up from him, figuring, drain fuel, drain oil, clean carbs, refuel, reoil, go out.... Well, in looking at the fuel/oil lines, they are COMPLETLY plugged, so I'm gonna replace those. The carb didn't look too bad, got a bad diaphram. Other than that, can't see anything real obvious. 'Course, I've never had one of these things before, either. So, here are the questions:
1. Best place to get diaghram
2. What else should be checked? (ie, seals, pumps, bearings, etc?)
3. Once I get it running (or IF i get it running), how long can I run the engine on the water hose adapter thing?
4. Anything special about cleaning the carbs on this thing? I've rebuilt quite a few, but never on a pwc?
5. Need to replace some fuel/oil hose (main lines, 8 mm/6mm stuff. Will hose from autoparts store be okay?
BTW, this thing has been sitting for AT LEAST 3 years....
Well, thats it for now. Sorry for the long post, and I 'preciate any and all info.
