1994 vs 2003 Prop

Got a 2003 Merc 8 hp outboard and was given a couple of 1994 props.<br /><br />They seem to not have the recess where it goes against the thrust washer in the back, obviously not fitting correctly.<br /><br />Is there a cheap way to modify these to fit the 2003 merc?<br /><br />I'm thinking not, because I don't think the hub kit would fit, appears to be a bit of diameter difference between them (Or I could be wrong?)<br /><br /> http://www.tngbbs.com/bathtubracing/images/prop5.jpg <br /><br /><br />Tx,<br /><br />Scott

Update - Hub sizes, internal size that is:<br /><br />1994 - 1.0"<br />2003 - 1.1875<br /><br /><br />If I put a 1994 thrust washer on with the 1994 prop will it work - anyone done this?<br /><br /><br />Tx,
