New to the forum and new to mercury. I have a 1994 xri 200 that intermittently boggs down when taking off out of hole. Mercury installed a new mechanical fuel pump and electrical fuel pump and change filter. It has ran great for 2 trips to lake. Now it has started again. It does not do it all the time but when it does it boggs bad and won't take off but coming at wot will eventually take off. The only thing that seems abonormal is that my volts never go above 12.5. Maybe stator problem not sure thanks in advance.

Check voltage regulators bullet connectors for burnt connections from stator

Thanks for reply I have checked every bullet connector on motor and don't see any signs of corrosion

Stator or rectifier/s problem, need to straighten this out first as ECU is voltage sensitive...

That probably explains why at beginning of trip it runs great by the end bogging bad OK so what do I need to test first are the rectifiers the boxes that the stator wires go too

I performed bench test on rectifiers and all within spec is there a way to read Volta/amps of stator wires while running
