I have a 1995 johnson 112 spl, and do I have the 'S L O W' mode system if I overheat?
If so, it worked properly and allowed me to putt back into marina. I cant find anything about it in manual.

Yes you do, but the best thing to do if it overheats is to shut it down and let it cool off. When you start it back up, and it still goes into slow you'll know it's not cooled down. You should also be getting an overheat horn.
