Was offshore, motor ran fine in the morning and then started lossing a little power. Took off to head in and ran fine for 5 miles and then just dropped down to 6 mph at wot. It seemed to be running fine not missing or anything so we decided we were probably better off not messing with it seeing as how we were still 16 miles out. got into port and it died. Could this be a head gasket problem. Someone say it is a cover that the saltwater eats a hole in because it is not a saltwater motor ?? any advice thanks
