Mine is actually in the control box. I went through a lot to trace it down. I'm by no means a mechanic but a pretty mechanical type person. I don't know if you have but I would start a new post with the problem that your having. There's a lot of knowledgeable people on this forum that is willing to help. Just me and what your saying about this problem your having, I would start with any connections on your tilt/trim. I don't know what would be making the noise but if your seeing a drop in the voltage best I could say you may have a short somewhere on your tilt/trim switch. Good luck, I know it can be frustrating trying to find these things.
