Had the silencer off the motors and was doing some routine maintenance. Started her up and found the lower left carb (as viewed from the back of the motor) was pulsing air out it's carb throat when the engine was idling. The other 5 seemed to not.

Is this a problem?

It's not a backfire through the carb, it's spitting on every stroke. I didnt add throttle as I've heard this could be bad.

That's an indication of the reeds not fully seating on that cylinder. Could be a broken reed petal, some trash in the reeds........

Music, You should go on the BRP site and look at the parts listings. On my '98 150, the reed valves are located under the throttle bodies (behind the carbs). If yours are the same, it should not be too hard of a job to do. If you remove the carb, you might be able to inspect the reed valves, as well.

This is the first time I'm submitted or got on any kind of forum so bear with me... But I noticed your 150 problem and was wondering if anyone could help with mine. I have a 95 150 faststrike.. also lower left and lower right carbs are leaking fuel... but their leaking from the left side of the bowl.. it appears there is a small hole that is missing some sort of brass piece or part.. The other four carbs have what appears to be a brass ball... Anyway, fuel just pours out the bottom two carbs.
