1995 1950 Sport fish I/O

I have a chance to buy a 1995 1950 Fish / Sport I/O with A 4.3 VOLVO PENTA. Are these very reliable. They are asking $9999.00 I think I can get for $7000. What are some going rates on these boats and are they solid. They look well built. Needs a little TLC But hull is in good condition. Little concerned about motor. Any info would be good.

Very nice boats, but it's way more important to know how the boat was maintained for the last 13 years. If it looks like it's in rough shape then that could be a sign it was poorly maintained.

It looks like it has not been cleaned. I wiped the dirt off the paint and it looks like it will wax up nicely. Are the paint jobs on these boats pretty solid.
I can see if there are any maintenance records. Do you have a price that would be a low ball offer for it. I am very handy at fixing things up.

The 1996 Crestliner 2160 Phantom in my signature was purchased in May 2007. It had 20 hours of use since new and had not been registered since 1998. With the 130 Evinrude, electric trolling motor, livewell, Shorelander trailer, I paid $3,600. NADA showed 12K. It was an absolute deal of a lifetime, but really great deals can be had by the very patient buyer, but you really can't go wrong with Crestliner's. They are one of the best made boats out there and do hold their value.

you paid 3700 for a 21 foot boat under 20 hours of use. You absolutely stole that. Call the cops! WOW. I will hold out and wait to see what happens thanks for input. I can't the price you paid.
