1995 2 stroke, 0G310728 Spark plug wire

No spark bottom cylinder, took off the boot and see the wire was broken. The connector to the ignition coil is push-in, i'd prefer to fix it, than replace the whole wire and boots, just not sure exactly how the wire is oriented inside the connection part that pops into the ignition coil, any insights?

Also wasn't able to upload picture, says could not be written to the server, site admin will need to resolve. ?

The ign wire should be stranded stainless steel. The plug boots usually have the spring connector with the sharpened end that pierces the insulation. This can be replaced for pennies. The other end is usually crimped on. I am not sure if you can get the connector or crimp it yourself.

Those wires look to fit an '88-94 motor. If it were me, I would replace the wires. Try ebasicpower and see what new wires cost there.
