1995 evinrude choke selonoid

Which position is auto on these units all the way clockwise or counter clockwise?<br /><br />Also if the choke was set to manual mode with this help prvent my primer bulb to stay rock hard i figured if it were in mannual it would possibly bleed off the prime eventually at my bulb,<br /><br />thanks

Once the motor is running, the bulb is usually softer because of the slight suction on the line. Generally, the choke solinoid is in the 'run' position when inline with the center line of the choke. When pointing 'away' from the solinoid, it is in the choke position.
