1995 evinrude vindicator 225 thermostat upgrade

Ive heard on this motor you need to upgrade a few things like thermostats.. blow off valve... high speed jets moved up a size on carb 2 and carb bowl screws with the *** on it i i was just curious what the thought was on these and if anyone knows what to upgrade the thermostats to... my motor model number is e225stleob

"I have heard" scenarios are typically worth what you paid for the advise. One would think that a motor wouldn't have made it 25 years if the upgrades where a necessity.

BRP is pretty good about updating their parts list to address later part changes and modifications. Any of these changes reflected in the parts list?
