Trying to decide on purchase of 1995 Bayliner with Force 120. Lots of bad stuff on Force. Seller took me out and engiiine started out fine but became sluggish. Fuel has been sitting for a year. Permitted me to take to mechanic at his expense to drain tank and get engine checked and running as he says it usually runs fine. Not much experience with this size motor and 1st Force contact. Mechanic comments that parts are no problem, not hard to work on, maintain properly and should be fine. Price is about 3K less than other used boats I'm finding. Comments please!

Re: 1995 FORCE

Howdy, Cherokee.

Think about why the boat is $3K less than the other used boats you have seen.

Bayliners and Forces didn't get their reputations by being dependable or by being good value.

If the boat had year-old gas in it, what quality of maintenence do you think it has had?

I suggest you look for less boat at the same price or up your budget.

Good luck. :)
