1995 Glastron Fish & Ski Fuel Gauge Doesnt Work!

Hey, I have a 1995 Glastron Fish & Ski and the fuel gauge doesnt work. I took Out the float and it seems to be operating fine. I then joined the two wires that are screwed on the top of the float together to see if anything changed on the gauge and it still reads completely empty when I just FILLED it. Please let me know how to fix it. Thanks!

check the ground wire to make sure you're getting a good connection. The guage on my sailboat will read empty with a bad ground. Could also be the guage itself.

okay, that worked, went from the ground in battery direct to float and bingo. thanks for your help

o have a 2004 fish and ski glastron 20 ft and i was wondering were are the floates loacated becosue i would like to check the ground wire and i have the same problem like urs but it say full thought when it is not. if u can help me thanks u
