My boat has been in the shop since the last week of May. I was having inconsistent starting and running issues. The repair shop has put in a new ignition switch and removed water from the fuel tank but can not seem to be able to pinpoint the main problem. The mechanic said the issue seems to be one carburetor that is not firing. He says that the carb will fire up if he covers it with his hand, but will not perform properly on its own. He removed the carb and cleaned it but said it looks fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
