1995 Johnson outboard

i need a little help.....I can put the boat in the water next weekend and it will run like a bat out of hell 6000 rpm.......but...... when i stop and troll for about 2hrs start the boat up to go back, it won't open up it only does 3100 rpm's thats it.......this have been going on every weekend for 10 weeks, change plugs, water & gas filter, oil, you name i did it.

im not sure why it's not getting up to speed, just a little help on what to do..........

Ckeck the throttle, and ignition advance linkage. Ignition stator going to the timing stop bolt, carb's to wide open.
