1995 Johson 150 fast strike throttle linkage problem

I have noticed my 150 at about 3/4 throttle (with a hot foot) hangs up, I have disconnected the cable from the hot foot, it operates correctly, I disconnected the throttle cable from the engine and therein lies the problem, however I cannot seem to pinpoint the actual culprit! but it is definitely in the throttle linkage, do I replace every piece?, any other ideas you guys may offer?

Make sure the sync and link is correct as a hot foot with incorrect stop can knock it out of wack and bind. Pic's below show incorrect and correct setting.
