Last summer while cruising wide open on a lake, my Mariner all of a sudden lost power. I idled down for a few minutes then opened it up again. It ran fine for a while then bogged down again. Since then I cleaned the carbs, rebuilt the fuel pump, replaced the fuel line, checked the vent in the inboard fuel tank, and replaced the fuel filter. I tried a remote tank and when the motor bogged, I would squeeze the primer bulb and the motor would rev back up. So I know it's a fuel problem. My next step is to replace the fuel pump with a new pump. Any suggestions?
