Looking for advice I have a merc 25 1995 elec advance. The engine will run fine for 1.5 hr than will start to lose rpm it will drop off and pick up for about 5 min than just drop off i have to back off the throttle. The engine nevers dies and will run at 2000 rpm. If i give more fuel it bogs. To me sounds like the control box stops advancing the timing. kinda hard to run it 1.5 hr on lake till it acks up and put a timing light on it. Could the triger do this?
