My dad and I just recently purchase a 95 Basstracker with the mercury 40 hp motor on it. The boat is in excellent condition however, we can't seem to get the trim to work. I have chased all the wiring up front and at the trottle and we have juice to the wires. I pulled the motor cover and found three wires not connected to anything and tested them with the trim button and they work. I can't find any wires that should hook up to these. You can see the hydraulic cylinder for the trim, but there are no wires coming out of it. Any help would be appreciated.

Not an expert here but I believe the T & T
will have a solinoid for up and a solinoid for down mounted on the motor or nearby. There may be
a junction block with terminals for your wires.
Lets hope the former owner didnt remove the
control parts for the system.
