Hi everyone,
I'm in search of pictures for a 1994-95 Mercury 75 or 90 hp. My motor was disassembled for a diagnosis and was not put back together. I ended up purchasing a remanufactured powerhead and I'm having trouble locating where a few parts go.

If anyone has pictures of the following that would be greatly appreciated.

The location and mounting position of the regulator/rectifier.

The enricher valve mounting position and connections for the 2 wires and 2 vacuum lines.

And, there is an L fitting above the oil reservoir that I do not know where the line goes to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've tried searching on Google and on this site along with a few other boating sites. Also, I've looked in the Mercury repair manual for this model, but there doesn't seem to be the schematics I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance
Jeremy

I have some pictures of an '02 90 that should be pretty close. I'll dig around and see if I can find them and see if any help answer your questions. Will get back tonight or tomorrow and either post pics or tell you why not.

No Title

Found one: Regulator/rectifier is the silver C shaped square object with a black square filling the C, just to the right of #1 spark plug. There is a vertical aluminum plate that has several components mounted to it......top to bottom, (1) grounding wires tieing the plate to the engine block electrically even though it's mounted to the block; (2) Rectifier/regulator, (3, 4, 5) CDI's, and just forward of this, where all the red wires are visible is the starting solenoid......I THINK it is mounted to the plate also. Disregard the aluminum foil on the plug wires and CDI's. I was trouble shooting the engine for an intermittent thermal problem (which I found In #2 CDI later on) with triggers and thought at the time, that I might have an ignition interference problem. After I found the bad CDI I pulled all that stuff off putting it back like it was built.

The fuel enrichment is located above the top carb with the fuel line going to the left side of the carb (facing aft) while the regular fuel inlet hoses are on the right side. I don't remember if it goes to all 3 carbs or not. Look on the left side of them for the brass tube. If the carb has one it gets FE. The the black/yellow stripe wire is the hot wire and gnd is black. As I recall it's mounted so that you can prime it by hand ......little shaft sticking out the top and the mounting bracket doesn't interfere with it.
