I have a 1995 polaris slt 750 that i just recently tried to start. It ran decent for a minute then died, i pulled the plugs and they were milky. This was the first time i started it since the winter except when i flushed it. Over the winter i rebuilt the carbs and put in new fuel lines. It does not seem to be sucking gas either. It has a new fuel pump. Could it be a blown gasket ? Or has anyone had a similar problem?

Did you hook it up to water when you started it?

following BlueFish's comments, I've heard that if you turn the water on before starting the motor, you can get water into the cylinders. Quite the opposite of what you want to do with most boats I think (i.e. start motor then turn water on).
