I have a question from Osan AB korea. My wife is back at Illinois and has a 1995 Pontaic Transport minivan that she says just started making a knock noise when stopping and then going. I told her to check the oil and fluids and she says there good. She says the knock sound she hears only occurs when she stops and when she starts to go again from a stop light or stop sign. She says she never hears it when she is moving only at stop and go she hears it. I am not there so I can't determine what it could be but I was wondering if you guys know what it could possibly be. She says the van runs o.k. and idles good just the knock noise when she stops then it starts when she goes again from a stop. I am not sure being over in Korea and she is back there in Illinois.
