1995 Sea Ray Model 195 prop

Have a 1995 Sea Ray Model 195 with a 180 HP Mercruiser w/ 14 x 19 prop. This prop does not allow boat to fly out of the water high enough. I'm trying to find out what props I can use on this boat or what the original prop was. Any prop specialists out there? Does it have something to do with pitch or?????? What? Thanks.

Tell us your present max rpm and speed.Is your prop aluminum or stainless?
There are props that give stern lift and other that give bow lift.I'll leave it to the experts to explain the difference.If you read the stickies at the top of the page and at the prop store page it will help you understand prop selection better.
