1995 Sun Tracker pontoon baffle configuration please?

Hi folks-

Can anyone tell me the baffle configuration on these boats? Mine is a 24'. I have two red plastic plugs atop each pontoon. Are the baffles gapped at the bottom? Also, I'm hearing water in the nose of one of the pontoons, but the nose has no vent plug or otherwise. I'm thinking I'll need to drill to drain this front nose section as it seems to be sealed from the rest. No water out the rear drain plug, but water sloshing in the nose. Previous owner had some damage to this nose repaired. I figure they may have just left water in it, OR it has a small leak.

if you drill, drill at the top, then seal it back up.

Yessir, just trying to decide on the best thing to screw back into the hole once I drill it. Not a big enough deal to go the whole drain plug/bung welding thing.
