hello everyone first post here. be nice to me lol.
its close to 6000rpms and gps showed 18mph i was wondering if i rebuilt it would my boat go faster?? needs to get rebuilt because my prop looks like it fought a shark. wondering if i was hitting a rev limitter at 6000 and maybe a pitch up would help. rebuild or new prop? i have a 15 pitch now. i called tracker and they said it should run low 20's

guess i was wondering should i keep and rebuild it or spend an extra 30-50 bucks and get a new one? how fast do other peoples party hut move with a 115hp
thanks

First off, what brand of 115?

6K is ususally the redline, or a bit more, for many outboards.

A 30' is a big toon. 20 maybe, much over that I wouldn't count on.

welcome
Depending on what brand motor I think a 15" is way too much prop.
Let us know what motor you have.

I don't have info on the 95.The 88 is 4750-5250.
I think 6,000 would be a little much.Someone should chime in with more
timely info. If you can get the prop repaired for a reasonable figure have it done and test it.Then you will have a base line to figure from.On a 30 footer I still think that a 15" is too much.I would plan for a pontoon dedicated prop (4 blade)and keep the repaired prop for a spare.
