Looking for possible causes for my 225DT to smoke.
I purchased this engine last august, had it installed by Suzuki Tech.
It ran fine for two weeks and then started smoking at start up and after sitting for more than 1/2 hour.
Last fall I fogged the system, drained the oil, replaced the oil pump Oring, tighten the oil pump/throttle linkage, drained and replaced gas, separator etc.
This spring I changed plugs, blead oil system.
It still smoke at start up.
Is there something more going on? Scared cylinders, stuck rings or valves?
Help me narrow this down Please....
I would like to trouble shoot this myself if possible before brining back to the mechanic..
