1995 Sylvan 17' Sport Select/ Johnson 90

Got this a month ago and can you tell me, should the power to everything remain on with the key off or should it kill everything? ( bilge pump, live well, tilt/trim and lights) .
My grandson was in the boat and hit one of the switches and a couple days later my battery was almost dead.

Normally all those items will and should run with the key off.

Key only turns off engine, and anything powered from the "I" terminal on the back of the ignition switch.

If you want everything off, you need to install a battery disconnect switch.
