Disconnect the large red electrical plug, under the cowling, and use a jumper wire to engage the starter solenoid, spin the engine and see if you have spark. Post your results.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty<br /><br />Btw, do you have a repair manual for that engine?

You really need a repair manual. At the top of this page on the same line as "Helpful Links" is a "Manuals" tab. Click on that and order yourself a manual for your engine.<br /><br />If you don't know the location of the cowling, engine cable plug or starter solenoid, it's going to be real difficult, for me anyway, to talk you through this. <br /><br />g'luck & c/6<br /><br />Hooty
