1996 10hp CDI Help - No Spark

Hey all, new here.
Got a 96' 9.9hp that I don't get spark in one cylinder.
Compression is 120psi in both
Spark on plugs on the block is good off one but not the other.
- tried changing plug wires same issue same plug
- tried changing plugs around same issue same upper plug
Flipped the wires from the power CDI around connecting to the coil and the problem flipped. ie the other plug wouldn't spark.
So the coil, the plugs and the plug wires seem OK.
Now I'm no electrical guy so I'm not sure if the CDI pack is the problem or further upstream. Anyone have a suggestion on testing the CDI Pack or other suggestions?
Any advice would be great.

Sounds offhand like you have enough to just replace the pack. It would be the CD-2, which is used in many models (around $90).

Yep just south of Parry Sound.
Thanks OB1 for the assurance of the CD2 Pack replacement. Worked perfectly. Runs like a charm.
