The engine will sound the warning horn after running fairly long periods of time at 4000 rpm or more. You can run under that all day long and it may never come on. Once it does sound the horn you can shut it down and start it right back up and continue to run without buzzer sounding again for a while. I took off the heads and cleaned the passages. The bigger passages seemed fine there are 4 smaller passages above and below the middle cylinder/head that had some corrosion in there along with the black rtv sealant that may have been restricting the flow. Hopefully this was my problem. I will run it this weekend to find out. Any other suggestions as to what it might be if not? Also I was speaking with someone at the dealer and they said that if it was not getting hot I would be able to keep my hand on the block all day long, especially once the t-stats opened.....I have heard others say on here I should be able to keep my hand on there for 4-5 seconds....can someone please verify...I can keep my hands on it for little while but not all day long. And should the t-stats open with muffs at idle...mine dont seem to open when running with muffs at idle, they are opening in a pot of boiling water, however. Thanks in advance for the info.
