Hello all-I have a 1996 20hp Johnson that will not idle unless the primer plunger is pulled out into the detent selection. It runs fine under power but when you pull the throttle back to idle it will cut out. I am in Denver at 5500' altitude and the motor runs a little rich (plugs more black than brown) so I plan to re-jet the main jet. Is there a pilot jet in the carb, my clumer manual does not show one. Should I re-jet first and then address idle or vice-versa.
