Had a problem over the weekend. Was about to launch, tried starting the boat and heard some hard clacking. Shut it down, retried and started was locked. Pulled back off the ramp took a look around. Put back in the water and it started but with noise. As the day progressed it started more normal but with a ticking sound while started was engaging. By the end of the day the started worked normal with no clicking. Looking for feedback on possible problem. Just a fluke or should the starter be replaced?
