I am trying to install a tachometer in my boat. Need to know wiring color for the send, ground, and ignition wire coming from wiring harness out of the control box. My control box has a small pigtail with 4 wires inside with male terminals. Like a round water tight plug with a cap on it. Just wondering if that is for a tach hook up, and if it is, can i buy the female connector that plugs into it with wires for hooking up a tach. Would appreciate anyone who could help me out.
