Hi there, I'm looking for some info on the water heater on a 1996 crownline 250 CR. I have checked the power supply and I'm receiving 110v to the heater but not getting any connection across the high temperature cut out. I have tried to push reset it but not had any joy. I have put a meter across the heater element and that seems fine.
Could anyone give me any information on the high temperature cut out, I can't find any information on it and wonder If I can replace this component.
Thanks in advance

Resistance across is open? Run a temp alligator clip jumper across cut-off, if all else is okay, the heater should work........

Those cut-offs sometimes have a temp rating marked on the body, have a pic?

Resistance measurement across I assume is ok? 10-50 ohms or something?

Thanks for your reply, the resistance seems fine. I'm sure if I put a jumper across the two terminals the heater will work. I suppose I could attempt to remove the high temp trip and see if the is any info on it. I have a picture but it's not great and definitely can't see any info or spec on it.
