I have 1996 Evinrude 120. I think I am have a fuel starvation issue but I cannot pin point the cause. Here is what happens. It starts well idles well take it out it runs great. Then after running awhile or after I anchor a while and start back up It will run a bit then bog down like it is fuel starved. I then have to limp back to the dock. I replaced the inline fuel filter on the engine, installed a new canister fuel filter with a water separator on it. I checked my air vent and it seem s to be working . When I blew air into thru the vent I can hear it through the fuel fill up. I even changed the engine thermostats. The previous owner had just replaced the fuel tank before I bought it. Here is what I am thinking. A stuck anti syphon valve on the tank.( did they install them back then?) Replace the ball and fuel lines? I always add Stabil for Alcohol blended fuels. now i do get fuel backed up thru the vent when I fill it it but the vent seems to be working. I also wonder If there is an issue in how the new tank was hooked up right,
