1996 Evinrude Intruder 115hp. Good or Bad?

I'm asking for a buddy as he's thinking of buying one. It's a fresh water boat. I always work on older engines. This is way to new for me. Any history with this engine? Known issues or just a good ole Evinrude? thx, Steve.

Good motor. Sure beats the cross flow. And you don't need a lap top to work on it.

I have a 1996 Intruder 115hp I bought brand new and have NOT had problem with it! I love it! Runs very strong! I have it on a 17' Stratos Bass Boat!! Very low maintance! Do NOT use anything but champion plugs!!
