I hit something and broke a blade on the prop which I already replaced and now the motor will not stay up while running. If the boat is sitting still or going at slow speeds the trim works fine. But as soon as I increase the speed the motor drops all the way down and if I try to raise it up I can see it go up so far and it drops right back down.Which the trim was working fine before the hit :) .The fluid level's good with no leaks ,relays are good, voltage is good on all the wires. Seems like its something to do with the hydraulics maybe? I'm just trying to find out what exactly the damaged is cause I don't want to have to replace 10 wrong parts to fix the right problem. This is my first year boating and I'm learning as I go. Thanks

it's impossible to say. the fact that it raises and holds means it is hydraulic. However, I can't even guess what part of the hydraulic becasue there are too many possible things. You just have to methodically go through checking every part one at a time. For me, it would be cheaper and easier to just do a full rebuild and whatever was broken got fixed along with everything else.
