Hello I am looking to know what type of spark plugs I should use in my 1996 Force 90HP outboard engine. It currently has NGK BUHW plugs, but I am wondering what the difference is between those plugs, and the BUHZW plugs. I also want to know the difference between plugs that are smooth on the bottom, (I believe they are called gap plugs?) and plugs that have the ground coming out?

You shall use surf gap plugs. They are expensive but they last very very long. Just clean them every season and you may clean them some time during the season if you runnig at low RPMs like idle for long periods.

DO NOT use regular plugs with electrode. You may melt the pistons if you use them.

The difference between NGK BUHZW and BUHW is that the BUZHW has radio interference suppression.

We use BUHX plugs on our 125hp,
Can we use BUHZX for radio interference suppression?
We don't have a radio yet, but it's nice to know for next plugs

No reason to use BUHZX, most modern radios already have built in interference filter.
