1996 Johnson 25 HP

I am considering purchasing a boat with a 1996 Johnson 25 HP outboard. Upper compression is 108, bottom is 107, is this a good reading? The engine has two previous owners and about 450 hrs on it. Nothing has been rebuilt to date. Other than compression anything else to look for with this particular engine???

Yo, Ski.<br /><br />Compression is fine.<br /><br />Check the gearcase for water and ask for a demo under load.<br /><br />Good luck.
