Having this problem where the boat seems to go into SLOW when running. Tach is no longer working, and system check lights do not operate. My first issue was a bad ignition switch. The push to choke failed. Installed new one, but had no spark. I had a new coil installed, but still no spark. I was told it could be the power pack or stator. Removed stator and bench tested. No good. Installed now cdi stator. No spark. Installed new power pack. She runs but won't seem to go WOT. Chocks up around 2000 - 2500. Can't be sure because no tach. I am done throwing parts at it. Am I looking in the right places? Why would system check be faulty and how do I disable or test it?
