yes they are good boats, the motor is good also. $8900 for a 12 year old, 17 footer seems steep.

Have 3 friends that have Makos, all are very happy with them. Agree, Price does seem high. FRED

I see a boat in a GARAGE if it has always been stored that way it will be worth much more than the SAME boat if it was keep in a saltwater slip

BUT it does look like it was used in saltwater

It looks like a very clean boat. You should find out what the market value is on the boat and offer him that. I'm sure it will be below 8900.
