I just got a new boat and I was trying to run my throttle lines and they were too short by about 3 feet . I was wondering if they could extended or do I have to get another control box ?
no just buy longer control wires, google teleflex controls, and you'll find literature on how to measure for new control cables as well as how to assemble to your specific control box and motor.
I have the old quicksilver 3000 box and from some of the things I've been reading people were saying that they don't make cables for that model more and I want to know if this is true or did I read something wrong ?...and if this isn't true can someone post a website on here of the exact cables I would need to buy , Thanks ahead of time .
